Tollywood News: Mani
Ratnam’s latest project, Ponniyin Selvan, is all set to release on September
30, 2022. It was a pan-Indian movie releasing the movie in Telugu, Tamil,
Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages the film stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
in the lead role and has Jayam Ravi, Chiyaan Vikram, and Karthi in important
roles. This is Aishwarya’s second film with Chaiyaan Vikram after Raavanan.
Trisha, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Aishwarya Lekshmi play important roles. AR
Rahman was the Music director.
Mani Ratnam stated that he feels extremely grateful to Rajamouli
and Chiranjeevi Garu for giving him the confidence to work on larger-than-life
films. I would also like to thank Tanikella Bharani Garu for helping me when I
was struggling during the process of making this project. Dil Raju takes
responsibility for the film in the Telugu version.
